- Research to break through those "brick walls" in early Upstate New York
- Research on collateral lines and neighbors (the FAN approach - searching friends, associates, neighbors)
- Searches of church records, deeds, probates, court records and manuscripts -- whatever it takes to piece a family back together and find their origins!
- Transcriptions of early handwriting: letters & diaries etc. [I can read that old handwriting!!]
- Librarian, MLS Degree from State Univ. at Albany, NY, 1985.
- I have researched many difficult families in upstate New York and traced
roots back to New England, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Canada, Michigan, and other areas.
